If you are in quarantine or self-isolation and visiting your favorite studio is a big no, then your only option is at-home yoga. Your best bet is the free yoga classes on YouTube. Sure, you can try a yoga DVD at home or choose from the hundreds of pay-per-view online yoga classes. But why pay when you can get the best free? There are lots of free yoga channels on YouTube but which are the better ones?
Some are good channels but not well videotaped and with poor sound quality. So to save you all the troubles, I compiled some of the best yoga channels to choose from – from yoga schools and yoga instructors that are genuinely good, not annoying and worth trying. Check out all these 10 video channels now.
1. Yoga With Tim on YouTube
Tim Senesi is a Yoga teacher at YogaWorks in Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and Laguna Beach. There are now 217 yoga videos on his ‘Yoga With Tim’ YouTube channel and cover several yoga workouts, most of it about 30-minute range.
But you must try his current ‘Total Body Yoga Workout 30 Days Challenge’, which is my favorite during this lockdown period. You need to spare some time though, as this yoga challenge is average 50-minute.

2. Free Yoga Classes Online from YogiApproved
YogiApproved is an online yoga and healthy lifestyle channel and they work with yogis around the world for relevant and current yoga content. This is a great channel to practice yoga with top instructors in the comfort of your own home. Their free videos include the ‘how to’ videos such as “How to do plank”, “How to use yoga props”, etc. So, if you are new to yoga, it is a good video to watch. Their yoga classes are designed to help you expand and work on your flexibility, strength or cardio. And yes, it is for both guys and gals!
There are also paid subscription channels but their free yoga videos on YouTube are more than sufficient to cover all areas of your yoga needs. Currently, there are 118 videos on yoga and these averages about 30-minutes.

3. Caren Baginski – Restorative Yoga Videos Online Free
Do you prefer a slower-paced yoga – yoga that slows down and opens your body through passive, held longer than normal, stretching? Then you must try Restorative Yoga. The best free video on this type of yoga is by Caren Baginski. She is the author of the best selling “Restorative Yoga: Relax. Restore. Re-Energize”.
Restorative Yoga, as defined by Wikipedia, is:
“The practice of asanas, each held for longer than in conventional classes, often with the support of props such as folded blankets, to relax the body”
She has also written for magazines such as Yoga Journal and Mantra Wellness Magazine and teaches Yoga and Meditation since 2009. To date, her free YouTube channel has over 88 videos on Yoga and Meditation with new videos uploaded every Tuesday.

4. Zeynep Yoga for Free Yoga Classes on YouTube
Zeynep, a yoga instructor and a fitness model, is based in London and teaches yoga full time in London and abroad. She is a former Latin American Ballroom dancer and has a black belt in Taekwondo. Zeynep is fully accredited with the Yoga Alliance in Ashtanga Vinyasa (300hr), Rocket Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, and Animal Flow.
She, however, specializes in one-to-one yoga sessions in London but you can access her free yoga classes on YouTube here.
5. SaturnoMovement for Yoga on YouTube
SaturnoMovement is by Gabriele “Gabo” Saturno, a body-weight elite trainer. His training focuses on the combination of yoga, calisthenics, and overall body movements. So, it is not just Yoga on his YouTube channel, but also Calisthenics Workouts, Bodyweight Workouts, Meditation, and his ‘How To Do…’ videos.
Currently, there are 98 videos on his YouTube channel and my favorite is the ‘Daily Full Body Mobility Routine’. This is the 15 minutes Yoga Flow session. Check out his other Yoga lessons on YouTube here at SaturnoMovement.
6. Yoga with Travis Eliot
Travis Eliot, a world-renowned yoga instructor, is the creator of several yoga programs – The Ultimate Yogi, Yoga 30 for 30, and several Yoga DVDs. He is also an author and his “Journey Into Yin Yoga,” and “Holistic Yoga Flow: The Path of Practice.” are some of the bestsellers on yoga titles. Travis is a Yoga Alliance-certified E-RYT 500 instructor.

7. Lizette Pompa Yoga on YouTube
Lizette Pompa Yoga on her YouTube channel is mostly in English but some videos are in Spanish. Born in Mexico, she started her yoga journey when she was in Madrid. She now teaches yoga at her Hot Yoga Uppsala Studio in Uppsala, Sweden. Her videos average about 25-minutes and if you are pressed for time, try the 15-minutes Vinyasa Flow Yoga.

8. Free Yoga Classes from EkhartYoga
EkhartYoga on YouTube is a series of short yoga classes from their websites (subscription-based) that focuses on Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga. Browsing through their Yoga playlists takes you to yoga by focus, yoga classes by style, yoga classes by duration, and videos on EkhartYoga Academy and talks for yoga teachers by the founder, Esther Ekhart, and other teachers on EkhartYoga. So it is easy to find your desired yoga video.
They are Europe’s biggest online yoga studio with over 3,500 classes conducted by over 40 world-class yogis. These are mostly through paid subscriptions.

9. Yoga on YouTube from POPSUGAR Fitness
POPSUGAR Fitness offers yoga as well as workouts for strength and cardio. If you like to dance, there are lots of this on PopSugar Fitness Channel. Currently, they have only 12 yoga videos – about six 30-minute videos and six 10-minute videos. You can go for their paid monthly subscription but their free yoga video classes on YouTube are great on its own. Click this link to go directly to their yoga videos.
10. Free Yoga Videos by Sadhguru
My last list of free yoga classes is more meditative rather than physical yoga and it is by Sadhguru. He is a yogi and a mystic and considered one of India’s most influential people.
His yoga videos are tools for transformation and include topics ranging from yoga for health, success, stress, love, joy, peace, etc. These are mostly short videos about 5 minutes average. The longer videos are about 15 minutes except for the “Isha Upa Yoga Practices” video that is about 1.5 hours. This video has a short intro about Sadhguru, shows the correct way to do the various poses before starting the yoga session.
So, with just five minutes a day, you learn how to transform your life for better health and success. Currently, there are 19 free yoga videos, which are not just practice but is a living phenomenon. Sadhguru’s simple practices are designed to lessen your struggles and walk through life with ease.
